I (James Oliver) am a Florida based civil attorney with Carr Allison. I have handled matters ranging from auto accidents resulting in personal injury, negligent construction of commercial buildings, to excessive force claims before federal appellate courts.

I have a particular affinity for multi-jurisdictional and parallel-jurisdictional matters and the civil procedure interplay between jurisdictions (and have been fortunate enough to litigate on these subjects, too). Some of this website is devoted to this topic along with emerging technologies affect on the jurisdiction. Or, at least how I anticipate how it should affect.

Outside of law, I enjoy motocross, surfing, muay thai, computers, and a handful of other things.
